boring day off

another thursday another day off. quite bored today though, i usually go out with andrew and take his dog for a walk but he is busy helping his dad today so im at home and ive been doing so photography work. im going t watch andrew play football later so i hope the weather brightens up a bit, its rather dull and cloudy at the moment, i hope rain isnt imminent. very glad we went to the zoo yestaday.

zoooo!

so i went to the zoo today with andrew, i wanted to take some more photos for my photography and we were supposed to go tomorow but weathet is supposed to be better today so we went today. the weather was actually lovely, it wasnt majorly sunny but it was nice and warm with a slight breeze. i love the zoo and havnt been for about two years so i was rather excited to go back again, it never dissapoints, im just a big kid at heart.

Ever so sorry

i apologise as i know i've been neglecting my blog of late but im back and im ever so sorry. i got paid on friday and i was very happy as we recieved a nice little bonus, my happiness was cut short though when i realised i had been under paid £100 for being off sick, even though i should get paid. i did however spend £200 of my hard earned money on internet shopping yestaday, on asos and river island. i think im going to the zoo this week with andrew which im really excited about, i love the zoo so lets hope the weather stays lovely, its raining now though so ope t stops. i had work today and im going to andrews tonight, im doing some work for my photography using his family as my models.
today im wearing high waist denim shorts from primark, check shirt from topshop and black opaque tights, nice and simple.

pauls boutique

had photography again today, just worked on our sketchbooks today. all the work needs to be in by 26th may, thats 3 sketchbooks and 2 display boards (a lot of work). been reading my book today, Sweet little lies, the sequel to l.a candy by lauren conrad. i actually really enjoy reading her books just because there exactly like the hills which i also love. i enjoy a good book and usually manage to read one within a week or so. ive just finished ice cream girl by dorothy koomson which was an amazing book, i couldnt put it down. another book i enjoyed was the intimate adventures of a london call girl. after watching the tv series i was inspired to read the book that spawned it and i wasnt dissapointed, i loved it. all the inuendos and fascinating stories are just excellent. oh and apart from book reviews i also tried another walkers crisp flavour, spanish chicken paella, it was quite nice, not the best flavour but ah well.
today im wearing floral tights from riverisland, red cardigan from next, blue shorts with braces from asos, white plimsolls from riverisland, stripy t-shirt from new look and i thought id show you my college bag which is a lovely big zebra pauls boutique bag brought for christmas from andrew. i do love a pauls boutique bag.

pick n mix

its a very sunny day today, hence the glasses, but its deceptively cold. i looked out my window and thought id wear my sandals but my feet ended up being freeeezing. i should realise by now not to trust what it looks like outside. im not wearing thick fluffy socks to keep my footsies warm. i had college again this morning and then me and andrew popped into the new sweet shop thats opened in town, it sells all old fashioned sweets in jars and also newer sweets. verrry nice indeed. i just love aniseed balls and pear drops.

back to college

it was back to college today, mondays i have sociology in the afternoon, so i go to college for one lesson boo!. I havnt really done anything else today other than sort out my student loan (finally), didnt realise how long it takes to register. i havnt tried anymore walkers crisps flavours you would be dissapointed to know, andrew had the bbq kangaroo flavour which he said just tasted of the normal bbq flavour, thats probably because he doesnt know what kangaroo tastes like.

clash of the patterns

had work again today, when its hot and sunny outside its just depressing really, especially when everyone is buying bbq stuff. andrews dad always has bbq's so im looking forward to the summer, especially with the world cup. had another of the odd walkers crisps flavours today, this could be my new blog title really: "what wierd flavour i ate today". it was brazillian salsa today and again it was rather nice, il let you know the next flavour i try.

"you have lovely hair"

today i went food shopping with the mother and a lady stopped me to tell me that i had lovely hair, it was the highlight of my day and yes i am easily pleased. while we was out we bought the new flavoured walkers crisps. the flavours are wierd like bbq kangaroo and roast beef and yorkshire pudding. so far all ive tried is the french garlic baguette flavour and it is acually very nice, it tastes just like the french cheese boursin. i have also been doing some more photography work, i swear it is never ending. the new topic is rhythms and cycles so for my first idea i am concentratng on the rhythm side and i am going to use four songs and take photos representing the lyrics.

stressss

i have finished my display board for photography today but it wasnt without its problems. trying to print off the slowwww p.c is ridiculous, it took me an hour to eventually get my pictures printed off and then decorating the display board commenced. the theme is movement and i decided to focus on movement of fashion and music throughout the decades. i took photos showing fashion from the 50's to the 90's and then formed a collage of the photos to show fashion in the 00's as it is a mix off past genres, i then decorated the board with lp's, cd's and the tape from a cassette. i also had time to go to luton and wetherspoons with my friend hilary and we had lovely chocolate fudge cake mmm.

dog walking

ive been on dog walking duty today with andrew and his chocloate labrador jess. we went up the downs and had a nice walk, the sun was kind of out but there was a bit of a breeze, not to worry though as i was wrapped up in my mums parka, bit over the top but i was warm. im going to watch andrews football teams reserve team tonight with andrew and his brother. oh i cannot wait.

driving lesson

i didnt manage to photograph my outfit yestaday as i left my camera at andrews house, i am very sorry. today i have had my first driving lesson in over a month. after failing my first test in march i gave myself a few weeks off. the lesson went well today, all in preparation for my second test in may. it is also a lovely spring day again today with the sun shining and no wind around, which is always good as it plays havoc with the hair. i have work later on which is always a joyous occasion, hopefully im not on my till all shift, its nice to have some variety while im working hard for four hours.

A sad day

so yestaday i said how my gladiators where withstanding the test of time but last night they finally broke, the zip will no longer do up. it makes me quite sad knowing i cant wear them anymore, they have been my favorite sandals i have ever had, so comfortable and now they are no more. Andrew said i could try and get it fixed, which i might do as i dont want to get rid of them, im a loser i know but i love them too much. anyway i had work today, it was boring as per but it was emptier than usual which made it even worse.

football

i was feeling a bit under the weather yestaday so was unable to blog, story of my life lately. i am feeling a bit better today so i am going to watch andrew play football. i have only seen him play once and weve been together nearly two years, i feel its my duty to show more of an interest in the sport. its a very nice and sunny day again today and its not windy which means a bit of warmth, finally.
today i'm wearing beige grandad t-shirt from riverisland, custom ripped skinnie jeans from new look, brown belt i stole from my mum and my studded gladiator sandals are from asos. i love them and have worn them to death as the zip is starting to break, i just cant let them go though, they are the most comfortable sandals in the world!!

2 in 1

im starting to make a habit of this missing a day and then blogging two outfits a day thing. i need to break this little habit and today will be my last of doing so (maybe). this is the outfit i work yestaday, i didnt have time to blog as i went out shopping with my mum then dyed my hair reddish (cant really see it) and then went to andrews to watch football. i decided to dye my hair red after weeks of deliberation, i took the plunge but then it doesnt really look much different, in the sun it is red but otherwise it looks brown still, just a bit lighter.

today i went to see clash of the titans 3d with andrew. i love the original so have been highly anticipating this film realease, and i was not dissapointed. although the storyline and characters have altered a bit from the original it is still a very enjoyable film and i would definately watch it again. afterwards i went for a drink with my friends hilary and steve. havnt seen steve for ages as hes been at uni so it was good to catch up, especially on a nice sunny day.

double trouble

I didnt have time to blog my outfit yestaday as i got in quite late and left my camera at andrews house, im not neglecting you i promise. I went to andrews nan and grandads golden wedding anniversary dinner at cosgrove, it was very nice but i kinda felt overdressed as i wore (well you can see) and everyone else dressed down in jeans, but ahh well such is life.
So last night i wore black one shoulder bodycon dress from topshop, bird printed river island military esque jacket, heart print tights from topshop, miss selfridge lace up shoes and flowery clutch bag from topshop.



So now for todays entry. i havnt really done anything today, i wanted to go and watch andrew play football but no one else was going and i didnt really want to go on my own. im going to watch him next week though. im at andrews now after having a lovely roast chicken dinner at my mums house, cannot beat a good ol roast dinner. were going to watch the comedy gala tonight, cannot wait because im very sad like that. lee evans is on it and i loooooove him.

work work work

Had work again today but no college as i am now on easter break for two weeks. work was ridiculously busy, because of easter i know but cmon, how many eggs do you really need to buy. I am at andrews now shopping on asos while he plays call of duty, yes he is one of those addicts. im going to silverstone again tomorow as his brother is doing a rally driving experience for his birthday.

Shopping shopping shopping

i've been shopping with andrew today to milton keynes. He doesnt really get as excited as i do at the prospect of shopping but he comes with me anyway because he is lovely. i wanted to buy a jumpsuit from riverisland that i spotted on the website but it wasnt in the store, i was quite upset. I did however pick up a new scarf, t-shirt, bow hairband, sunglassed and a lovely floral militaryesque jacket and i still have quite a lot of money left to play with.
Today i'm wearing my denim dress from next, floral tights from river island, embelished cardigan from riverisland and my lovely new skull scarf from riverisland aswell, its khaki with velvet trim and velvet skulls and spades.
